Day 1 – Fundamentals of Layer Farm Design & Economics

Day 2 – Rearing & Production Management

Day 3 – Biosecurity, Egg Quality & Vaccination
  • Building effective biosecurity programs for disease prevention

Day 4 – Nutrition, Data & Troubleshooting

This year’s Layer Nutrition, Production, and Management AgriSchool offers participants a unique opportunity to extend their learning experience by one additional day. Attendees may choose from two optional program activities designed to provide deeper, hands-on engagement:

Option 1: Feed Formulation Workshop

  • Raw material evaluation and balanced diet formulation

  • Nutrient optimization and feed structure design

  • Practical formulation workshop

Venue:

Same venue as the Day 1–4 Layer AgriSchool.

Fee:

  • US$300 for Day 1–4 participants

  • US$400 for non-Day 1–4 participants

  • Fee includes course material, venue, breaks, and lunch

Option 2: Egg Quality & Processing Field Visit

  • Visit egg grading and processing facility

  • Egg quality assessment at laboratory level

  • Understanding post-farm egg handling processes

Field Visit: KCF Farms

Lab Session: KU Egg Lab

Pickup point: Day 1–4 Layer AgriSchool venue

Fee:

  • US$550 for Day 1–4 participants

  • US$650 for non-Day 1–4 participants.

  • Fee includes transport, refreshments, lunch, hygiene equipment, and workshop materials).

Remarks:

  • Day 5 is optional; participants may choose whether to attend.

  • Priority is given to Day 1–4 participants, though others may register if space allows.
